The goal for this project was to develop a unique concept and floor plan for a gourmet restaurant serving new American cuisine. My concept evolved around the idea of a warm and inviting family restaurant. I used pictures of a bonfire to convey my restaurant concept which was intended to symbolize a cozy and family oriented environment with a warm color palette and rustic design components. Students were also encouraged to follow building codes and ADA requirements.
