The main focus of this project was to design for a blended family with young children and a handicapped adult. Students were expected to work with the existing architectural details and the surrounding farming environment to develop their design concept. My concept evolved around a safe environment where accessibility and livability go hand-in-hand. The space planning of the home needed to consider important spacial adjacencies, an ADA accessible bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and straight line plumbing.
